TOUR OPTIONS

In addition to a CUSTOMIZED TOUR, you may want to choose one of these pre-selected options, by area:

DOWNTOWN/Centro

Let me show you the most famous sights and also the hidden gems of the 500-year-old Historic Center! This includes the Palace of Fine Arts (Bellas Artes), Alameda park, the Zócalo (main square), National Cathedral. How about some local eats like hot chocolate and churros in the city’s first churrería, or the oldest and biggest bakery in CDMX that was originally a church, or enchiladas in a colonial mansion, or delicious tacos at an LGBTQ+-owned taquería? The choice is yours…

North

Check out the biggest library in Latin America with its amazing contemporary architecture, the first neighborhood of the city, a Diego Rivera mural, amazing architecture (like the Parliament that was turned into something else!), and a Plaza where all the different eras and cultures of Mexico City come together: Indigenous, Spanish, and modern Mexico, in the architecture and historic events that happened there.

Pyramids of Teotihuacán
(& Hot-Air Balloon option)

Private day trip and tour to the beginning of history in Mesoamerica, see and understand the different pyramids and other buildings, and their history. Includes transportation from your accommodation to and from the Pyramids, road tolls, entrance fee to the national park. Allow around 4–6 hours. Optionally have, lunch in a spectacular setting nearby (not included in tour price). Or add on a hot air balloon experience (extra change).

South: (San Ángel, Coyoacán, Xochimilco)

Explore the campus of the most important university in Latin America, see the murals of Juan O’Gorman, Diego Rivera and Siqueiros.

Two old colonial towns have become part of ever-growing Mexico City, but have retained their charm. San Ángel is one, with its charming cobblestoned lanes steeped in history lined with centuries-old mansions – but also one iconic, more modern piece of architecture! Coyoacán is the other, where you can explore my hidden gems, such as the house of one of Mexico’s most famous feminist writers. Optional tour extension: House of Frida Kahlo. Tour can optionally begin or end at the Kahlo house. Admire the floating gardens of Xochimilco in a private boat and learn the history of this small town and its canals. Many guests like to enjoy drinks and snacks on the boat, which you can purchase on the way.

West (Chapultepec, Polanco)

See the best (almost) secret parts of Chapultepec Park, the city’s largest park. See the former Presidential Palace, and the only underwater work of Diego Rivera. Then experience Polanco, to admire the modern architecture of the Museo Soumaya and Jumex Museum, a charming area of streets lined with outdoor cafés and restaurants, and the chic-est shopping boulevard in Latin America. Tour can be customized or extended to include museums of contemporary and classic art, or Mexican history.

Bar Tour

I’ll take you to underground bars where locals know have to have fun and also the hot spots with go-go dancers, dance with your group or meet new people. Tailored to your preferences (e.g. gay, queer…)
